Ready For Life
Helping parents and caregivers raise children who are socially and emotionally healthy and ready to succeed in school and life.
KERA's Ready for Life initiative provides parents and childcare providers with a the tools they need to raise children who are socially, emotionally and physically healthy and ready to succeed in life and school. Developed by KERA's Educational Resource Center, the Ready for Life series features videos and a comprehensive curriculum that uses childhood development research to address the critical topics of temperament, attachment, socialization, early literacy, nutrition and fitness. Ready for Life workshops and training manuals are available for parents, teachers, childcare providers and other community professionals in both English and Spanish.
